THANK YOU! GODSEND Agenda Kickstarter is a success!

Hello Humans!

First off; YOU DID IT!

I want to thank you all for bringing this book to life in the way I envisioned. Thank you.

You helped fund a Kickstarter and make it a success without all the bells and whistles. Almost $10k over the goal, and I never had to promise dice bags, t-shirts, or logo emblazoned fez hats. It happened because of your confidence, grace, and generosity in the project. Like a great gestalt gamer, you rose with your powers combined and made GODSEND Agenda a reality.

You all deserve a huge hug and kiss for your combined assistance. Again, thank you.

What’s Next?

The book is done, but…

It’s time to get on my grind, get the manuscripts consulted in various ways, commission all the artwork, edit and layout.

International Fulfillment

I’m talking to a company about international fulfillment so those not in ‘Merica won’t have to sell kidneys to get their books (fingers crossed).

Pantheon, Epochs, and beyond

Finish off all the tidbits left to be done with the writing—lots of moving parts that must be reconciled in the game. If I wanted the easy way out, I would give you the finished portions that already exist, but I want to set the bar high for a superheroic game of action-adventure activism: no half steps or cut corners. GODSEND Agenda will be the RPG Full Monty- prepare to have your eyes bleed from copious amounts of cosmic awesome!

Pledge Manager

There will be a pledge manager for everyone to upgrade once things are locked in and ready to go.

Putting on the PJs and going night-night

Take a break and recharge. The behind the scenes of a KS is filled with a deluge of emails requesting or offering things. Some are sincere, most are trash, but all need a reply.

Again, Thank You for the generous help, and I hope I meet your expectation when the final product is finally delivered.

GODSEND Agenda Influences:

There are many influences that helped shape GODSEND Agenda, but none stronger than the following.

  • Jack Kirby’s Fourth World saga from DC comics, and his Marvel Comics creation, the Eternals.
  • Lord of Light by Roger Zelazny
  • Daniel Keys Moran’s the Long Run and the Last Dancer

GODSEND Agenda: How will you make a difference?

Work is almost done, and the Kickstarter is in the planning stages.

Prepare to change the world

Below is a work in progress character sheet for GODSEND Agenda. The game runs on 2D10 and is quite simple to play. However, the most important part of the game is what you do with them, even more so than your powers.

The big question GODSEND Agenda asks is; How will you change the world?

GODSEND Agenda: Pantheons

A pantheon is a team of super humans who have banded together for a common goal or Agenda. There are several benefits to forming a group:

  • Teamwork toward a common goal is easier to do when you have like-minded beings working in that direction.
  • There is protection in numbers from one’s enemies.
  • The team has a much larger pool of resources. Teams often intermingle their resources for the greater whole, enabling them to buy weapons, research and scientific equipment, and team gadgets. Characters can pool their Experience Points to buy large ticket items such as expensive bases of operation or a group vehicle or communication devices. To do so, they set aside Experience Points used for group endeavors.
  • A team of Heroes has a much higher profile than an individual, and they are thus able to channel more Ka.

Each Pantheon has unique Boons and Banes. As a group, the Players build their Pantheon and then give it a name.

Pantheons have traits that define them much like characters, and these traits help define the team.
